Founded in 1936, Hickman Fire & Rescue is staffed entirely by volunteers. It is governed by the Hickman Rural Fire Protection District Board, which consists of five community members.
The Command Staff consists of the following:

Medical Captain: Prescott Krouse
We provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residents of our fire district. This totals over 60 square miles, including Hickman, Roca, Holland and the rural areas surrounding these communities.
